Looks like I was right about Gourgiest being random sizes.

I wasn't expecting Pumpkaboo to be part of that as well.

Well, we'd have to look at its moves to be sure here's what we know:

>Pumpkaboo's signature move is Trick-or-Treat which adds a ghost type to its target (or replaces its 2nd type with ghost).
>Pumpkaboo evolves into Gourgeist via trade.
>Pumpkaboo comes in four sizes: small, regular, large and super size.
>Pumkaboo's size determines how much HP and Speed it has. The larger the size, the more HP and less Speed it has.

- Place a Pokemon with synchronise and an adamant nature in first slot
- Catch a female Pumpkaboo with an adamant nature, give it ever stone
- Breed with one of your many Pokemon from your Gen V game, which has a perfect Attack stat (holding relevant power item)
It's really not that hard.

I wonder if this is Gamefreak's way of weeding out the cheaters? Since the 3DS is supposedly much harder to hack, pretty much anyone who has a perfect Gourgeist at the World Championships next year is almost guaranteed to be a cheater.

How does synchronise help? That just lets you catch a Mon with the same nature. It doesn't do anything about finding a Pumpkaboo/Gourgeist with the right form.
