Dunno what happened, may I burn out with the hype but after I've seen the 3D gameplay and pokemons up close I am actually start to doubt I will like this game, there was just something on the 3D models that's not working for me.

Not hyped at all.
I don't know... Maybe just playing GTA V made me realize that GF could do a LOT better with X and Y (Not that it's bad) but just do MORE and they don't really push themselves.. I mean yeah I love Pokemon but when you see games that have and look like they have put actual effort into them, it makes you look at X and Y and feel just a little disappointed. I'm going to play until I die, but I just feel a bit betrayed, hurt, confused, and disappointed.
Granted, it's a game... but it's a game I played since I was a kid.

Spite me, call me a faggot for playing GTA V, do whatever, but it's not changing the way I feel about the series right now

This is, I kid you not, EXACTLY what happened to me. I decided that it was a good thing though. Too much hype or poke-stimuli could make me have over-expectations and more disappointment in a game than normal.

I am a bit hyped still, but it stopped being as much because of just how fucking great GTA V is. Still, as the days draw nearer, I can't help growing excited again for it, so don't think losing hype is a bad thing. If anything, it's because you have a distraction to stall time until the next thing.

i don't know why i'm posting this
like i know this post is either going to get ignored or i'll get called an asshole or faggot
but i feel like a lot of the people who like the designs of new pokemon and mega evolutions have to be people with without acquired tastes in visual arts

like

i'm sure the game will be as objectively fun as any other pokemon game

like
if you're playing for gameplay, you'll enjoy it
and that's fine

but when i play games i want the game to look pretty and coherent and authentic
i'm picky with how things look
i buy clothes and furniture and everything else with appearances in mind
i have high standards regarding that shit

just like how i'm sure some of you have high standards and are obsessive with regard to gameplay and cry and complain about how this is going to ruin the metagame or how that is going to fuck up breeding, etc

if i felt like shitposting, i would say something like

B/W had a Final Fantasy kinda feel to it. I wouldn't mind if Game Freak went in that direction.

Seriously, I wouldnt know. But if I was getting paid for it, I'd try SOMETHING

I dont know, maybe do something with weight and heights as stat factors, like how grass knot kinda tried, but way more in depth.
But I do know itd be more meaningful to have guys paid to brainstorm on that, rather than model flying animations
