Shiny pokemon seem that bit more common now!
The amount of shiny pokemon that have shown up in the past few days!

As long as it's not ridiculously low I'm fine.
Hacking has made shiny Pokemon lose their initial value anyway, so making them more common won't hurt.

the fact that they aren't as rare makes me sad.
The rarity made them so much more special.
The shiny charm was at least far, it didn't make them ridiculously low but it took work to get it, it also actually made em want to compete the pokedex.

The pokeradar is pretty fucking hard to use. Chains get broken at random, a lot of resetting for the right patch. Sometimes the music shuts off for no reason and breaks your chain.

Unless you've got magnet pull and chain for Beldums, got my shiny beldum that way.

And for the Anon that asked for the rate, that isn't known and probably won't be known until pokemon releases it or someone tests for it. Probably will be a while.

There is only a group of people who circle-jerk about shinies and spend WEEKS looking for them.
It's autistic and sad, at least now shinies are more common and they don't have to waste months and weeks of their lives getting a different pallete

I'm very glad that they aren't as rare. 1/8016 or whatever is crazy. I've been playing Pokemon for 12+ years, and I've only found about 5 shinies (2 Tentacools, a Graveler, a Gastly, and a Shinx).

I don't know what the rate is now, but it's a lot nicer than it was before. They're still rare, and they're still special, but they're probably not nearly as much of a pain in the ass to get. This may stop a lot of people from cheating to get shinies, too.

I didn't spend weeks trying to find them, the 4 shinys i found i just stumbled upon when grinding.
The fact that just finding one in gen 6 is easier just makes it not as satisfying.

That is why i like them, because they are just a palette change. meaning that finding one, you found something cool and rare, but it was satisfying.

I've played 17 years.
I've seen two shinies.
I'd be damn happy if they bumped up the rate--maybe to 1/1000, or whatever the rate was with the shiny charm in BW2.

The only time I saw one other than LoR Gyarados, it was a Claydol in Rayquaza's tower. The fucker blew up in my face just when I got it in the red.

Oh and I bought a used Sapphire and found a shiny Machop in the person's box but that hardly counts.

If this really does mean increased Shiny rates, I'm all for it.

Correct. But when you put the percent sign there, you needed to take it out of 100. Type .01% in to google. See what it tells you. When you calculate percents, you have to multiply by 100 at the end of the dividing which is clearly what you forgot. Basic math here man.

I never encountered random Shinies from the first second they existed, when I found a shiny Scatterbug, I was so freaking excited that this would happen after 14 years of Pokémon. Now only in one day, so many Shinies have been encountered and I start to lose my confidence about my shiny Vivilion. It's heartbreaking.
