Metal Burst will certainly see a lot more usage, but the bigger problem here is Aggron's HP. If he had just a little bit more, he could withstand just enough damage to outright kill both Lucario and Garchomp in retaliation. But he can't, so that hurts him. He can wall Garchomp/Salamence Outrage better than Skarmory, but lacks any form of recovery at all which Skarmory finds in Roost.
This is all assuming his stats stay EXACTLY the same after he Mega Evolves though. Since HP cannot change, he actually DOES need more Defense, contrary to what people are saying, and I hope they take some more points out of his Speed to do it.
