With 3d models instead of sprites in the next games, will Bulbapedia and Serebii just use a picture of the 3D model of the pokemon, or a model viewer to show what they look like in X/Y?

I'm guessing a gif by default with a 3D viewer option for anyone that wants to check them out in detail.

Too small, even if bigger than the originals.

Serebii has thus far been using edited screenshots to simulate "sprites."

They could take a video of the pokemon in the pokedex, rotating him and then make it a gif, and make it so that moving the mouse left or right forwards or rewinds the video, giving the illusion of being able to move it.
Now, how to see over it or below it, no idea.

Yeah, work they won't be bothered to do for 700+ critters (plus dozens more forms and shinies for all, if they keep up with their current standards). I don't see it happening, especially the "video" gif.

If they could take clear screenshots they'd probably just take the first frame of the Pokedex image.
