Yes, and most likely. Serebii confirmed there is an item that allows you to alternate between the abilities of a Pokemon, and a Froakie he encountered had Protean, which is likely his hidden ability.

Chesnaught is pretty good but similar to torterra. Delphox is also pretty good with its speed and spatk and has bullet punch, mach punch , and ice shard resistance. Greninja is shitty crobat with different typing and rapid spin

There is a guy on Pokejungle who is trying to breed a Froakie with Sucker Punch, but has been completely unsuccessful.

As well as a girl on Serebii trying to breed a Chespin with Swords Dance, but has been unsuccessful, so far.

Assuming this is mostly correct, Delphox has a lot of interesting options. Will-o-Wisp and Mystical Fire can cripple the opponent's offense, and Barrier is an interesting choice, too.

I would add Psyshock and Aura Sphere to Will-o-Wisp and Mystical Fire for the ability to attack where the opponent is weakest.

I just wish it were a bit faster.

there is a 1-2 guys on Pokejungle trying to breed their Greninja for sword dances for acouple different options...but no success.

I think the breeding would help if we could access the entire Pokemon list, instead of the ~450 we can use throughout the game because we cannot trade yet.

Also, I dunno if its been CONFIRMED yet....but there appears to be a Move Tutor at the Battle Maison, similar to the Frontier Tutor in HG/SS, that teaches move in exchange for BP, but nobody is experimenting with him or checking him out.

There is also a Move Tutor near Gym 7(maybe) that will teach the typical Hydro Cannon/Frenzy Plant/Blast Burn to your respective pokemon.

Mixed attacker, with two priority physical attacks, plenty of physical and special attacks in its moveset.

Mixed Attacking is making a comeback this gen with all these walls running around, and it'll take advantage of it with its great speed and decent attacking stats.

I would do something that would abuse it a bit more

something more like:

Extreme speed (to get a nomral typing and immunity to ghosts)

There seems to be several Mega Stones you get during the main story, and then some post game ones which require you to first upgrade your Mega Ring to find. Those ones can only be found from 8 to 9 pm. Possibly. At least, you can only use the Mega Ring to find them from 8-9 pm.

Pokemon fall into breeding categories.

They can breed with any pokemon who shares one of those breeding categories with them.

Example:
Delphox is in two breeding groups:
Humanshape
and
Field 1

Lucario is in
Humanshape
and
Field 1

Both can breed, and a male Lucario can pass down Aura Sphere to Fennekins produced during breeding.

Breeding lets your favorite have access to moves and abilities they'd otherwise never get.

So a female Chesnaught mated with a male Meinshao will have a Chespin.
Male determines moves. So lets say that Meinshao has Drain Punch. Since Chespin can have Drain Punch as a move by breeding the Chespin will have Drain Punch

Just use whichever one you like the most visually. If you're doing a casual playthrough of the game it pretty much never matters what pokemon you use since in 99% of cases you'll be smarter than the enemy trainer AI.

Since no one replied to you, I will.
I would go with either Adamant, Impish, or Careful.
Adamant for damage, Impish for more defense, making his strengths stronger, or Careful for more rounded defenses.
Personally I would go with Impish

If his second ability is what we suspect, Impish may be unnecessary--especially if he has detect, or spiky shield. Instead I'm going for more rounded defenses paired with HP. From there I'm going to probably use Leech Seed, Drain Punch, Spiky Shield, and Wood Hammer.
