Inverse Battles are probably the best idea ever.

Things that you get out of Inverse Battles
>Charizard no longer weak to Stealth Rocks
>Charizard is now 4x to both Bug and Grass moves
>Bug is now an amazing offensive type
>Ice is now an amazing defensive type
>Dragon is terrible defensive type
>Steel is a terrible defensive type

What more could you ask for?

Being able to play Inverse Battles online would wholly make up for everything else about this gen. It'd be really interesting to shake up the metagame a bit with a mode that gives other Pokemon a chance to shine across all the tiers.

A move that reverses type reactions for a limited amount of time would be great. shame the only pokemon to get it will be slow, fragile and the move would have low priority. not to mention they'd probably be some bullshit attached to it that make the move miss 50% of the time

I think it becomes the opposite, as in Poison is now immune to Steel and Psychic to Dark. Normal x Ghost remains the same.

I agree with this guy. Since you're only able to Inverse Battle in one house it's only kind of neat but ultimately just a bit of flashy idea.

What they should really do is have a Inverse Battle mode in the new "World Tournament" analog.

The inverse of 0 is 0.

Shit stays the same

What it means for Shedninja is that those Resists that are turned into Immunities by Wonder Guard become weaknesses, while the weaknesses become immunities
