No it won't. They probably level the trainers, leaders, and wild pokemon with the concept of Exp All in mind.

Just turn off Exp All and it would change that.

but really. challenge? at what point was grinding or leveling up pokemon a challenge?

balance is relative. Previous gens were made with the EXP share in mind while this game is balanced around the EXP all instead. Since you gain more total EXP gyms and trainers are higher level and you end much higher than you used to

Leveling up was never the challenge. Defeating gym leaders is meant to be the challenge (but never is). It's even easier now that you have a whole team of over leveled pokemon.

implying you know it'll make the gym any easier then they always have been.
implying that you don't just one shot every gym leaders pokemon since ever anyway.

since it happens anyway why not reduce the wasted time of shuffling through grass to actually have fun with the game.

If the switch system had been introduced this gen you'd all be crying foul but since it's already there and togglable you don't.

Personally I think it's great, I haven't got my team completed yet so I can take some pokemon along for the ride so they can level and evolve and stay relevant.

Once I get my team completed i'll switch it off, but until this means that getting 200+ pokemine evolutionary lines to evolve for your pokedex won't be a complete and utter chore anymore.

Also, the Elite Four are like Level 60 or something.

and how do you propose they increase the difficulty of the game?
level increases and supposedly better AI didn't help as proven in BW2. so i figure making the game a little more enjoyabl in way of letting actually train a team withou taking hours is nice.

and considering making thegame harder would actually force the opposite where you would have to take too much time level grinding it would get boring real fast.

For anyone to answer:
Back in the day, I remember EXPShare being obnoxious because it took twenty minutes of messages in between each fainted pokemon to get through how much experience my team gained.
How does XY handle the sharing? or is it still SO-AN-SO GOT 200EXP, DERPALERP GOT 150EXP, etc.?

It gives you an extra message at the end of the battle that says "Your team got exp" and the informs you if anyone levelled up.

Not entirely elegant but it's not wasting your time like in Red.

People forget that if you know all the type weaknesses and all the best moves you're obviously going to push every AIs shit in.

It's not completely broken, though. For example the first gym bug leader opens with a Surskit with Water Sport so you can't just run in and buttfuck her with fire attacks immediately.
