Here are my reasons

>Tradition, although BW2 was the exception (got White 2 alone)
>Convinience (I'm going to have people to trade with, but this allows me to trade between myself whenever)
And the most important reason, so I can have 1 version as my main to invest a lot of time in, and the other as my runthrough game.

Yeah I am, I don't have to worry about finding people to trade for the version exclusives, Pokemon that require trade evolutions are easy to get, twice the event Pokemon and I'll be able to keep all my items when I restart a game since Pokebank doesn't like items.

So basically tomorrow I can either buy another copy of X and be lumped with a copy of X to sell on eBay.

OR

I can buy a copy of Y tomorrow and play through it, then play through X.

Seems pretty silly but I ain't waiting 'til Wednesday to play Pokemon.

multiple reason, biggest one is cause i get to play the little diferences in the 2 games, i can also play with 2 different playstyle (rushing in one and catching everything and playing slowly on the other), and even more because i foun an y copy 2 days earlier while my x copy would've arrived tomorrow.

I'm seriously considering doing this.

Pokemon games never reduce in price over the years. The only time they are reduced, is when the game is released and the stores are all competing for my purchase.

Yes - I actually end up always buying multiple.
I get one for me and then the other version for my husband and then one for my little brother and the other version for my little sister. Then I get the 3rd copy for myself as well as a 3rd copy for my little brother/sister to share.

So GF gets my money six times for basically the same game.
