What is this, a character design for Kingdom Hearts?

Ahah, but I do love his design. Makes me wonder how he looks without his doll garnishment. Does he keep his shape minus the horns shape, albeit he's now a purplish spirit with straight lines as eyes?

The zipper actually has a lore-reason. It's a doll that is haunted by a ghost. The ghost is kept inside the doll and restrained by the zipper. In it's mega form, the zipper opens a bit and lets out some of the ghost's full power. There were some better fan designs IMO but the general concept was similar.

People go on about the looks but the thing to remember about new pokemon is they they've mostly been designed around how they move in 3D.

Hawlucha looks awkward in stills but fucking glorious when animation.
