Seeing tyranitar, aagron, heracross, and pinsir get megas makes me feel more confident this mofo and dragonite will get one as well

Gallade is all that I'd have asked, if it wasn't for the fact that his cause is already lost.

If GameFreak could at least give a nod that they still plan to invest in him in the (hopefully not too far) future, I would have been much more calm and collected in the face of inevitable hype crash.

No new useful moves for him in this gen is already bad, but having no Mega while both Gardevoir and Medicham got theirs feels like a big FUCK YOU to everyone who was planning on using/getting/transferring Gallade in this new generation.

Who knows? Medicham got one, and it isn't even popular enough to make the first ten among the fighting types (if not more).

While this gen/release is completely out of question, perhaps it is their long-term economics to manage what they release with a mega so that the next gen/edition isn't going to be left with lesser mons accounting for less hype and interest.

At least, I hope this is somewhat true. Apart from Pinsir, none of my top faves have earned one.

There may be some problems with that, as - assuming from the non-present Megas - it seems that GameFreak's design team lives in some Bizarro world where:
