Depends where you order it from. Some places give you Pokemon cards, others give you a little Pokeball in which to store games. I got my copy yesterday, but no preorder bonus. Already played about 10 hours.

Does anyone know if there is a second region in the game? An NPC just said "I come from a region with an amazing town that... nevermind, you'll see it soon enough". Hoenn/Sinnoh confirmed?

Yeah, Pikachu gets his anime voice. Everything else has its original cries, which is jarring when you've got new Pokemon sounding quite nice and then you've got the Kanto with electronic screeches.

Oh, so they have. It's just the Kanto starters still sound like shit, compared to the Pokemon from gen IV onwards which have cries that sound like things. It's just slightly better shit than before.
