At least, none that I would recall.
Though that would explain why no cross-gen evos from gen 4 are allowed onto improvement drive that would have saved them from the landfill of obscurity.

TL:DR: GF made it so that item-dependent evos are to be vastly inferior to the 'naturals'.

Yeah, but this is mostly to the fact that everything that already requires an item to evolve is exempt from mega-evolving by default.

GF seems to float around the eerie void with only the vaguest link to the reality.

The original mega was gen 1 mewtwo. The entire point of megas is to recreate the schoolyard meta everyone had of "whoever's mewtwo faints first loses".

If GF could sit down for a minute and buff those stone evolutions to make them worthwhile in the new setting, I wouldn't have given a rats ass about entire ordeal.

But, as many have said before me, GF cares as little about balance and competitive viability as possible when no constant stream of money is likely to come out of it.

Arcanine is a Shisa, a legendary Chinese creature that is a cross between Dog and Big Cat (Such as Lions or Tigers).

He has good Base stats of 555, making it a strong Pokemon in its own right.
