Gen 3 had shitty gameplay and possibly some of the best pokemon designs
Gen 4 is the new thing to hate, but has a just as shitty region with only a few good pokemon (Bidoof, Manaphy, Bronzong, Staraptor), a few good evolutions of older pokemon (Roserade, Electrivire), but not only doesn't outweigh the bad pokemon, and introduced Stealth Rock, a poorly balanced idea of introducing a entry hazard that hits flying types.
