Oh god, I fucking forgot about Hawlucha and the fossils. At the moment I have Qualladin/Charmeleon/Diggersby/Floette/Honedge, and I want Clauncher and Skrelp too.
Diggersby will have to go eventually, I know that, but damn, too many sick Pokemon

Chespin & Charmander. I wanted to go for Froakie and Bulbasaur because I love Bulbasaur and liked Froakie, but... I just don't dig Greninja. And I definitely don't like Delphox. Chesnaught is cool enough, but I can't bring myself to have two grass types on my team.

Plus I'm getting X so I get the better Megazard so that's cool.

Well appearance is no contest for X.
I also hate weather based abilities, otherwise I'd use Abomasnow. I'm not a competitive battler so that was always irritating.

Plus the Fire/Dragon typing that Charizard always deserved.
