This has been a tradition of mine since R/S and I figured I post up on /vp/ to see if anyone else would be interested in taking the challenge with me.

It's really simple, the goal is to beat the game on the day it comes out. Beating the game in this case meaning beating the elite four. It's fun way to play since you don't know where you're going or what you're doing but you still have to power through the game as fast as you can. I'm sure it won't be for everyone since you have to speed through the game so fast, ignoring a lot, but it's a fun way to experience a new game that can only be done the first time through.
