8 hours 40 minutes of gameplay. This is my 2nd ever legit shiny (minus the ones that you're given). Really happy with it. So guys, have you found a shiny yet in X and Y?

The chance of finding a shiny is 1/8000 (approximate number can't be bothered to get the exact number)

Several thousand of people are playing it already. Statistic indicate that if at any given minute 8000+ people enter a wild battle, one of them will find a shiny

Also people that have found nothing are not posting

Why can't you just get the standard english game like everbody else?

In Germany it's a law. No video game can legally be released there without a German translation. Don't know about the French but it's probably for the same reason, I know the French in general look down on the English language.

Some high schools don't teach statistics or give you the option (in my high school I was given a choice of statistics and trigonometry for senior year, and I went for trigonometry). Probability never came up in any other courses.
