Still, it was also in Sapphire that I got my first shinies as well. Was surfing around searching for Latias when I instead found a shiny Wingull. Immediately used fly to go get it and train it. On my way to kill something I pass by two batches of grass which net me a shiny Zigzagoon.
One two punch! Never found a shiny after that though.
