It hasn't for me. I'm playing a downloaded copy with plenty of space to spare...

I just checked, it took 5 seconds, to reach the battle menu. I'm not sure how that compares to others, but it seems normal.

The only slow thing I've noticed is when fleeing from a horde battle (within the first animation cycle) it takes maybe a second for the "Got away safely" message to appear while it's instant elsewhere and after the first cycle.

The framerate in 3D is disappointing but eh, I prefer the PSS to the 3D if it came down to that.

No the actual battle scenes take several seconds to load even more so than previous generation. Next game will take a minute just to have one battle

I also have the physical copy and you do experience frame rate issues but I think you do not notice them if you do not know what to look for

I notice frame rate issues when its doing some strange camera angles, during the normal positioning for moves being used it runs fine for me and I notice no delay or slow downs for getting into battles, obviously it plays alot of animations of enemy pokemon your pokemon etc, but there is no delay on black screen or slow downs during it for me.

It has always been a matter of luck and even your fucking starter can be a shiny if you get lucky. It only seems like they are more common because the game has just been released and people like showing off their shinies.

I think we can agree that the game is reached a much more broader audience so anybody can pick up the game and beat it in a short amount of time. Collecting is still problematic but this is not new

Seeing from the evidence of people uploaded and how frequent the encounters are. One can say that the formula has changed to make it even easier. Could be from the high rate of sample but finding these frequent encounters is a bit too much

I have 5 gym badges and I've been playing for over 10 hours now. Keep in mind I actually try to catch us many pokemon as possible and try out all the secondary features as I go. As for loading times, I have seen no serious delays between battles at all but I will admit very very occasionally I will get a slight fps dip during battles. Also haven't seen a single shiny.

The game is absolutely incredible, by the way.

The game has just been released and getting a shiny so early makes you the coolest kid in the neighborhood. There's tons of people that haven't encountered a single shiny, but of course they aren't just going to create threads saying "I haven't found a shiny!". It was the same back when BW2 were released, and considering how many people play Pokémon, 1 in 8192 chances don't seem that low overall. There's also the people resetting for different natures for their starters.

Until there's some clear evidence, I don't see this as anything but confirmation bias.
