Here's an idea, try calling places to actually see if there any copies left of either X or Y. While I know this is a huge game and it's not very likely, it is a possible solution.

Well, one problem here - in this country there are no game stores. Games are sold mostly online or in some shops who also sell books or music or small electronics. And they mostly have 98% PC games, if you're lucky - PS or XBOX, sometimes Wii. DS games? Almost never.

Well gee, I guess all the people here being hyped about pokemon should go get a life because it's just a game.

Is it this hard to understand that I had huge expectations and wanted to spend most of my weekend playing new pokemon, because he promised he would do that, and now I feel sad because I can't?

1. Go to a store and buy the game and 3DS. I guaran-fucking-tee you that there will be a store that has it within 20 miles of you. You might have to look for it for a few hours, but you can have it by the end of the day if you put your mind to it.

You're doing it to yourself with your insistence on inaction, you're doing it to your boyfriend, and you're doing it right now with this very thread. You've got some legit borderline personality traits going on, and I'm betting that you actually are passive-aggressive as fuck IRL - "I'm not going to do anything to help the situation, and I'm going to make you watch me be miserable as punishment."
