The purpose of this thread and all future ones is to attend to basic questions regarding anything about X/Y that don't warrant new threads while also talking about the game itself and how to progress through it. This is so to keep the board from drowning in hundreds of X/Y threads that get ignored due to the inevitable hype of larger ones. Quick questions etc etc.
