I did for adamant nature. Not sure how it is on IVs though but its HP was the highest from the rest.

I think I read somewhere that all of them are male, so there won't be any DWF Torchics out there.

Meaning, get a good nature, and pray for good IVs. Or, if the rumors are true, all IVs are set to 31 during WiFi battles anyway.

They made all the event Torchic male so they can't be bred for their abilities. You can still reset until you get the ability you want though.
