The DS still has a large library of games I haven't touched yet even though I have a flashcart. Not quite time for retirement yet.
The only reason I have a 3DS is because I couldn't pass up the opportunity to get a purple one on Black Friday for only 100 bucks.

I got mine in 2004 when it first launched. I still use it sometimes, and probably put in 3000 hours into it over the course of a decade.

I probably will, if only because the shoulder joint on my DS Lite got knocked out about a week ago.
It still works fine, I just don't want to risk damaging it further.

This guy isn't poor, this guy is smart. The screen wont get scratched on the 2DS, and the original DS was far sturdier than the DSI.

I don't think that's true at all. My original DS's top screen started coming off after maybe a year or two even though I was careful with it. I've had my DSi since they first came out and it still looks brand new.
