Not if you're doing a team rotation like me, I'm literally using every single Pokémon in the game now that I can get them enough EXP to keep them at reasonable levels, feels good as fuck like a true Pokémon master.

it makes the game so goddamn easy. seriously I'm sick of all this dumb shit that developers are putting into their games because kids have no attention span. GTA V... stuck on a mission? No problem just skip it! Mario and Luigi 3DS... lose a battle once? No problem, just play it again on easy mode! Don't actually work at getting better, we'll just slip you on through!
It'll be great for completing the pokedex and possibly EV training but they shouldn't give it to you an hour into the game. Pokemon was already easy enough and they felt the need to do this?

Because grindinh is so challenging. It doesn't make the game any easier. It makes it more convenient. I can actually use a full team without having to spend an hour or teo grinding everyone up tovthe approriate level.

How delusional can you be?

Do shitstains on this world like op seriously think that turning it off makes the game harder?
It doesn't.
You literally can't make a pokemon game harder.
It's still impossible for it to be a real challenge if every single problem can be solved by overleveling.
You don't even gain anything new from the exp-share, you just gain the same thing you normally do faster.
The difficulty of a game is not measured by how long it takes you to beat it.
If you grind for 15 days withouth exp-share on and then mindlessy click the same button on one pokemon for the game, you are neither a better player nor are you playing a harder game.

Question: Does it split the EXP or just give you more?
Like... 100% to participant 50 50 50 50 50 to the benchers, thus making each kill worth about 3.5 kills worth of XP, or like, 50% to participant 6.25 6.25 6.25 6.25 or whatever the division would be?

it gives any pokemon that participated in the battle 100% of whatever the EXP is, and any pokemon that didn't get 50%. It doesn't split it.

Oh, I turned it off thinking it was like old EXP share, because I'm not wasting XP on random trashbugs, but turned it back on after I had 3 starters and honedge, so I figured the XP wasn't going to waste.

Play the Blaze Black 2 hack on hard difficulty.

You'd be surprised how tough the gym battles can be when they have pokemon with varied movepools and good items.

Exp. Share means fucking nothing, it literally just means less grinding time, and grinding doesn't make you a better player, it makes you someone with a lot of time on their hands. You want to make the game harder? Turning on Battle Set would be a start.
