Yeah, It's great. The Kanto Legendary music really hit me before the first minute mark.

A little unrelated to "callbacks" in X and Y, but I feel this gen's music was a lot more experimental than past gens, and I'm glad it's this way. Having the same old formula for music with an obvious melody and Powerpuff Girl Drumbeat would've made me really disappointed.

I'm actually liking a lot of the random NPC dialogue. There's a bunch who directly reference previous games and regions, it's pretty neat.

An NPC in Lumiose mentions that Blue can say bonjour, but still leaves with smell ya later.
