Is it just me or does this new EXP share seem very OP? It's a good idea, and I like how quickly my pokemon are leveling together, but is there a reason I would actually want to turn this off?

Except original exp. share split it, this one gives fighting pokemon 100% of exp and all others 50%.

You're right, there is nothing wrong with it. Just wondering if there is a reason they say you can 'turn it off'. What situation does this help with?

Probably to get all your pokemon caught up, then turn it on

No it just makes the game better by not having to grind like a bitch before every major battle. My team is actually relatively around the same level and balanced.

LOVING Gen 6's spread of mons and bringing back the old Exp share.

Maybe to not mess up EV training? Though there's little minigames for that. Grinding is the worst part of any RPG so I'm glad.

Uh, well, sometimes you are only training a single pokémon (for competitive or whatever), and this thing will make the whole thing actually slower by splitting the xp.

It's a decent idea, but not executed very well. Having it on all the time gets you way overleveled even with 0 grinding.

I think GF made this for mid-late game Pokemon so they will be easier to level and alternate your team between them.

WTF, You on drugs..this is the First fuckign time Exp.Share is a Key item and is for all..before it was a "Hold this item so that ONLY you get exp" and the one fighting..no all..WTF..Jeez

You don't get 100% exp in Tales of Symphonia, but you raise the right point. The other members still get experience, though, like in X and Y.
