Unexpected bros thread. What are the Pokemon that you didn't expect to like, that ended up being cool as fuck?

As for me, this motherfucker right here. Absolutely did not expect to have him on my team, but he has earned his keep, and is so goddamn kawaii in Amie.

Actually, it's the gen v pokemon I have on my team that I didn't expect to love as much as I do.

Sigilyph and Golurk are my fucking bros now. I didn't like BW/2, so I never really got into the Pokemon from those games. But they're great.

The X&Y pokemon I have are actually kinda disappointing. But that's okay. Otherwise, the game is absolutely amazing.

I didn't think much about Vivillon when it was revealed but when I heard about its patterns I decided to train one, and it's been absolutely wrecking the game. Dedenne also turned out to be a complete bro. Mine was really underleveled for most of the game because I didn't know where to catch it, but it destroyed Lysandre's team (apart from his Gyarados) and has been able to hold its own since despite still being behind the rest of my team in levels.

Flabebe and Floette are okay but when it evolves into Florges, it pretty much rapes everything. Be sure to level Floette to level 46 for Moon Blast before evolving it though

Furfrou is a fucking beast. Huge as fuck defense, good hp and special defense, good speed and sub-par attack. It's basically a fast tank.

Also Vivillion. I absolutely love Struggle bug this generation, it made me win my first triple battle (I used Vivillion, Beedrill and Dunsparce, he used Doublade, Frogadier and Charmeleon) Struggle bug rendered Frogadier and Charmeleon useless.
