Is is just me or is this guy just not very good? every time I send him out, he dies. I can never get him to ko anything, he just dies.

Just a heads up, he needs a sun stone to evolve.

And mine was fragile as heck until he learned Parabolic Charge, great attack in game early on. Now he's evolved he's pretty damn good for in game.

Really? I evolved him, and he still is pretty weak, then again the only time he was used in battle was against third gyms Hawlucha. When does he learn Thunderbolt, or does he?

He's not gonna learn anything now.
Like all stone evolutions, Heliolisk learns no moves after evolution. I super trained mine in Speed and Special Attack, but you're going to have to wait for later TMs to make yours useful.

But with dry skin...did u tried him in wet zones? He is a damn god. Also parabolic charge...

Such is life as a glass cannon, the 5th Gym gives you T-Bolt and he can learn Surf once he evolves as well for some pretty good coverage.

Doesn't he have 100 spdef? That's fairly good.

Anyway, he's a beast once he's fully evolved. Thunder and surf under rain, can't go wrong.

Dry skin is a given, didn't think I had to mention it. I'd rather have neutral fighting and ghost over SE fighting and immunity to ghost.

How the training works exactly? I only tired once, I was too focused on getting poke.

Does it has some kind of limits or you can continue training the same poke forever?

If there is som kind of stat cap is better to train before evolve or after?

Same happens to me with my pikachu.

He just can't seem to take a hit. Get's two-shot pretty often, I don't know what I'm doing wrong.
