I prefer Mewtwo to be a genetically altered beast thats just more powerful than most pokemon, not some intellectual being. It makes his rampage and destruction of the pokemon lab have much more feeling to it. He's a savage, lost beast that's been given immense power.
Of course, I respect your outlook on it too. Its interesting how we can like mewtwo in totally different ways
