What is the absolute optimum Pokémon for catching? I know that Smeargle can be good, but can't remember the proper moveset beyond Spore and False Swipe. I've also heard good things about Gallade.

Besides Pay Dayers for money, are there any other Pokémon that are strategic for things other than battling? What about contests in gen III?

Also, on the subject, does anybody know how to enter a double battle in Soul Silver aside from waiting for that one couple to call you?
