Can you check its Egg Group in the dex (i don't have X and Y), if so breed it with something in the same egg group. If you can't check egg groups then just guess. I'd suppose it would be in the "monster' egg grouop.

How does the EXP Share work exactly?

Does it divide EXP or do all party members get the same amount? I fought a Combee with Fennekin as lead with it on, he got 40EXP. Fought one that was one level higher and got 42EXP with it off. Is my whole party getting 40EXP each from that? Is there any reason NOT to use it?

I think it may give full exp to the one in battle and then give half of that to each of the other pokemon in the party.

It's been a fucking boon for me since I've been trying to keep my party leveled evenly and have been constantly replacing members as I catch more pokemon. If you tend to stick to just a few core members it'll probably be redundant.

Old Rod gives you nothing but Magikarp in fresh water, and nothing but Luvdisc in sea water.

Flabebe's evolution gets Wish at level 20, so combined with Protech (which you get VERY early on as a TM) things can get busted quick.

So I traded for a mawile on GTS and I was wondering where its mega evolution stone is and if there are any physical fairy attacks it learns either by TM or by levelling.

I got it at 37 and it's currently level 50, so far no fairy attacks apart from fairy wind, it also can't learn dazzling gleam. I don't have a heart scale so I can't check what it had previously learned either.

1. Where do you get a dusk stone?
2. Where do you get a Good Rod?
3. How does Clauncher evolve? I know Serebii says 37, but it also says that Skrelp evolves at 48, and I thought Skrelp was 30 something with Camouflage known? And since they're like counterparts I assume that Clauncher needs to know a certain move too.

To get a dusk stone, you have to fill the green bar on any given Pokemon's super training meter. With that you'll unlock Super Secret Training. There are six challenges that you unlock in succession upon completing them. The sixth's challenge is against Aegislash and if you win you get a dusk stone.

You can Super Train and Secret Train from the very second you get your starter. Its cool because not only are you getting a dusk stone, you also get to play neat mini games that totally beef up your Pokemon. All in all a pretty cool little system in my opinion.

Yeah, it can be done right away. Just use a pokemon whose stats you don't care about to grind the super training missions.

What is the point of the super training minigames? It seemed like it was raising my pokemons' stats, but then I checked their status page and they haven't gained anything at all.

Are you patting them?

You need to play the harder level minigames, though. If you get 110 berries or above in the unlimited berry one, you'll get two really fancy puffs that raise affection by a ton. It should only take you like an hour to max someone out.

I'm pretty sure it's detecting you on camera. If you don't do anything and let the yellow face stay there, eventually your pokemon will tilt its head or something and if you do the action back it starts a minigame where you make faces at each other.

no, the 1.5x power boost you get from using a move that's the same type as your pokemon is called STAB

damaging attacks are split into physical and special, attack determines physical damage done and special attack determines special attack damage done

the little icons on the attacks tell you which is which, a red starbust is physical and a gray circle thing is special
