If my team is going to be Gardevoir - Blaziken - Pidgeot - Raichu - Doublade and I started with Froakie... I was thinking I love Blastoise but Greninja looks awesome too.

I chose Squirtle simply because I have Chespin and Litleo covering grass and fire, I needed a water type.
Also sentimentally, Squirtle was the first Pokémon I ever had so there's that.

If you have a full team and select the starter you want, can you save and then send in the Pokemon to the PC before you get the starter with the right nature? I'm tired of battling over and over and resetting because of the wrong nature

You still have to choose a starter. But with a full party you can opt to come back later. You're locked into that stater because you're given its Megastone.

I really wanted charmander because muh nostalgia, but ended up with bulbasaur because torchic and froakie... and dear god bulbasaur is awesome.

Will probably train my Vivillion to be the capture pokemon till I can get a gallade.

Gogoat is such a bro until now, but I think I may replace him for Skrelp or whatever it's called for the E4, then I'll get the same team almost half of /vp/ has. it's so frustrating.

I had a hard time, too, but I went with Squirtle because I was already carrying like 3 fire types. I'm not Mega evolving Blastoise though. I hate Mega Blastoise for some reason.
