When I picked up my copy, the clerk tried the usual strategy guide shill, and I turned it down, since the internet's always lightyears ahead anyway. Today I'm realizing that the worldwide simultaneous launch means that isn't the case, so I have no idea if this sword will ever learn decent moves, or if he's just going to keep getting the piss taken out of him till retirement. Anyone know if it's worth looking into?

Wait a week or two for the info you need to appear on Bulbapedia or Serebii. Or if you're desperate, buy the guide,

So the strategy guide is already out? Does it tell you how to catch the three birds?

I think it's so much more entertaining to go through without the guide though. IT was like a being a kid. OH SHIT WHAT HE'S EVOLVING. now it's like oh well why buy the game when I can just read the guide/go online watch a play through

Why don't you just be thankful that none of us know what's going on? A jap game that gets released at the same time everywhere else, and no elitist importers telling us everything we need to do. This NEVER HAPPENS.
