Sorry for your loss OP. I lost a Shiny Phanpy that fled on me in Silver. I attacked it, got it to yellow, then it fled. It was my first Shiny too.

I've benn playing pokemon for 15 years now.

Played gen I, gen II, gen III, Red and Silver remakes, gen V and now I'm playing Gen V and I FUCKING NEVER FOUND A MOTHERFUCKING SHINNY

Truth is I'm pretty casual, I beat the E$, roam a bit the postgame and...that's pretty much all. No completing pokedex, not online battles, no breeding.

But still...come on! its been 15 fucking years and I haven't seen a single one!

When I was 8 playing Sapphire there was a shiny Tailow right near Petalburg city. I didn't know what it was, I just saw a sparkle around it and decided to catch it.

I don't think the nigger understood what he did, he doesn't play any /v/idya other than COWADOODY and Madden on his XBAWKS, mostly on break he just sits in the break room and watches Bills games/Family Guy, or goes out and smokes black and milds/sells bootleg DvDs.

I've had TWO of the fucking Shiny Gravelers blow up on me, both in Soul Silver.

There should be some kind of code in place to prevent Pokemon you can't catch from being Shiny. Fuck.

A level 4 Zubat in Dark Cave on Silver

I only had a totodile at level 14 or something, any attack probably would have killed it, and I think I'd botched all of my pokeballs, all I remember is I couldn't catch it with the last one I had or something so I was still puzzled, and went to KO it and reset my game to try and find it again for at least an hour

I play Pokémon in isolation, around close friends, or around perfect strangers (such as on a plane), I NEVER take it out around acquaintances.
