Although when is the evil team competent? Only the boss is ever a challenge, and that's only in Gen 4/5 [And B/W Gheteis was the Champion Replacement so...]

And honestly Flare's Head isn't a pushover. I didn't find him that easy, even with a team well suited to stopping his. He's no Distortion World Cyrus/Ghehetis, but he's no Archie/Maxie either.

What i meant in terms of sucks is that the motive of team flare is horrendus. "to get all the ugly out of the world"

Thats almost as bad as team rockets motive.

Rocket were just the mafia basically. They worked well and were fun.

Magma and Aqua were retarded.

Galactic were incredibly retarded.

Plasma were pretty good, they contributed to the plot very well and even though they fall short of being what they should have been by being demonstrably evil immediately the whole "Pokemon battling is wrong" angle was fun.

Flare are pants on head retarded.

I understand that they're stupid as shit and that this is normal, but they're telling you straight up how to move forward in the story.

GF was trying to make TR2 - from the music, to the puzzles, to the incompetence... Should have just went for Team Rocket at that point. There was enough pandering to older gens to add to already, as well.
