Honedge is more attack, but Aegislash does both.

You don't want Autotomize for Aegislash though, it needs to be as slow as possible to work properly.

I wish he was a one-stager. He's completely ruined by his evolutions and his original design is sick nasty fabulous. If he were a single stager he'd have pretty good stats (skarmory etc) and his typing and moveset would easily make him on OU staple. It's what the idea deserves. I can't think of anything more appropriately Pokemon than a possessed sword.

After sacred sword if you aren't going to replace it with iron head for the STAB and fairy coverage. SS is just too good a typing and too high a BP to pass up.

Aegislash and Bronzong do completely different things. Bronzong is an excellent wall that can do decent damage with Gyro Ball, but that's only if it HAS to attack.

Aegislash, on the other hand, can literally be a wall and sweeper at the same time thanks to its ability. Though, to be honest, I can see it being more of a sweeper.

-King's Shield
-Sword's Dance
-Sacred Sword
-Shadow Sneak

That's really all you need. Shadow Sneak and Sacred Sword have surprisingly good coverage.

I evolved my Doublade at a little over 50, and went to the move relearner to get King's Shield at that same level. So I believe Aegislash learns it via level up, and I didn't evolve Doublade early enough. I would suggest evolving Doublade after it learns Sacred Sword (Don't know if Aegislash learns it but it probably does).

I don't know about ingame, I'm still pretty far behind because I'm having fun! I just know you can earn all the evolutionary stones again and again through the minigames. Certainly cheaper than say RBYs stones in mall.
