Why? Why is this happening? My game keeps crashing. I got the digital version of Y, and I keep getting "an error has occurred". I played for over 10 hours yesterday and this morning, I go to work and come home, and suddenly I can't play. What the fuck? WHAT THE FUCK!?

OP here. I took out my SD card and cleaned it and the slot jsut in case. No errors and I'm three battles in, might have just been a read problem from a smudge or some dust.

Your SD card may be too slow. My girlfriend was having major problems with her download copy of X until she switched to a Class-4 SD card.

3DS games need Class 4 or higher to run stable and properly, and mini- and micro-SDs can be a bit finnicky (read: don't use them they fuck up a lot).

The SD card will have a symbol on it that looks like a big C with a number in it. That's the SD card's Class rating. 4 and above is reccommended.

I personally use a Class 10 card I got off Amazon, 32GB. http://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B007QOX5AK/ref=oh_details_o02_s00_i00?ie=UTF8&psc=1

Yes, yes you can. Grab a Gateway flashcard and slap a rom on it. X/Y probably has AP up the ass, but it's possible.
