Honest question, are there any fairy types that don't look stupid?

I kinda want one on my team so I can try out the new type and what-not, but all the ones I've encountered so far are just....meh. i have pic related on my team and I kinda hate it.

Just got to Anbrelle Town, current team is:

Frogadier, Ivysaur, Combusken, Honedge, Diggersby, and Spritzee.

tldr: convince me that Fairy's aren't stupid.

I guess I should have clarified, I'm only referring to the Kalos pokemon, there are some old pokes that are cool looking that were retconned, but I mean the new ones...

No new ones, especially if they're fully evolved. GF really dropped the ball with the evos this gen.

It's not a particularly good type anyway, with most Fairies having low BST (particularly offensively), frequently wasting their stats on SPDEF (which combines poorly with low HP).
Most gen 6 Pokemon are just underwhelming stat-wise. There's nothing that really stands out as impressive like in older generations.
Megas, changed types, and Horde Abilities are your only shot at decent """""""""new""""""""" mons.

There are only a couple worthwhile new moves as well. At least we got an actually possibly-useful new item in the combat vest, unlike Gen 5 which gave us fucking nothing in the items department.

Like eviolite isn't huge. I agree with the rest of your post though, the only thing I can actually see impacting the meta are Helioptile's evo, Goodra and that Poodle thing (because of its ability) and even then we're clutching at straws.

Oh yeah, I forgot about that. I don't see a whole lot of it, to be honest. Assault Vest looks similarly niche, but I think it will be more commonly used than Eviolite. For example, if it's given to TTar in sand, 252/252 Latios only has a slim chance (ignoring crits) to 3HKO with Choice Specs Grass Knot (its strongest move against TTar). It seems really handy to me, while Eviolite seems to be too much of a compromise on things not named Chansey or Gligar.

I can see the poodle acting as a nice lower-tier physical wall, but I ran some calcs and I doubt that it will have much use outside of stall (which still will probably suck this gen due to Megas). It can take a couple outrages pretty well, but it can't do much in return other than gradually weather the attacks with Recover and hopefully force a switch after enough attack drops with Baby Doll Eyes. Seems like a waste of a slot to me unless you've already poisoned/burned whatever's hitting you. I agree that the others will probably see some good use.

He doesn't do much compared to other mons that fill the same role.
That being said, he's the only ground type from gen 6 (that I know of) and I think he looks kind of goofy at best.

If you don't like Spritzee you'll hate Aromatisse. also it's a trade w/ held item evo.
The only ones that seem to be worth using are Sylveon and Florges but I feel ya too, OP.
I settled on Sylveon.
