I'm reaaalllly pissed off about this tbh. Why wouldn't they make it at least part fairy? It fits the bill perfectly.
I suspect it's because of Audino's reputation as an exp. machine, maybe GF thought people would get upset when their dragons couldn't just spam outrage when Audino grinding.

But that's exactly why they left the blandest Pokemon, Audino, a Normal type. Making it a fairy type would just give it useless resistances that would make some, keynote, SOME, pokemon slightly harder to exp farm.

The whole point of Audino is only to give you free exp, so changing it's typing, no matter how fitting it may have been, would ultimately make no sense from a design standpoint.

Normal type for this Bland Audino, suits just perfectly already, why would you want it to be changed?
