/vp/ i'm so hype for furfrou

has anyone captured one yet? i really want to see its stat distributions in conjunction to its ability.

No clue on stats but the ability is fur coat, halves all damage from physical moves, and just at a glance he has a higher sp def to compliment that. He's been pretty reliable so far, hoping he ends up like stoutland and solo's the E4.

I caught a few and used them for Wonder Trade fodder.

I like it, but as >>14567369 said Normal typing still isn't completely useful outside of a few rare cases.

STAB return is one of the only real reasons to use normal types outside of those with niche movesets (is miltank still normal I'm not certain anymore). With the right set up they can really pull their weight, but after saying that I'm not sure what other moves furfrou learns, Stoutland had Ice Fang and Crunch to give him some pretty decent coverage.
