GENTLEMEN'S GUIDE TO WONDER TRADING:
Guideline one: Wonder Trading is Gambling. Do not go on Wonder trade hoping for anything but a fun roll of the dice. Remember that the GTS allows you to search for pokemon without needing to have it in your "Seen" dex, so there's no reason to rely on Wonder Trade to fill out your dex.
Guideline 2: When you get shit-common pokemon, do not recirculate. You lost the toss of the dice. Deal with it. Sending the pokemon back into the system only lowers everyone's odds of getting back good pokemon. That includes YOUR odds. You are only stabbing yourself in the back when you recirculate shitty pokemon. If everyone recirculates, no one will get anything good. Remember also that SOME derps are perfectly acceptable to put up on wonder trade. Vivillion family for example could help someone else complete their wing-pattern collection.
Every pokemon you get from a new trainer is a new trainer ID, so every pokemon you get from wonder trade is a new chance at winning the in-game lottery as well. Keep that in mind before you mindlessly recirculate.
Guideline 3.) Make an effort. Don't just send a derp and call it a day. Thats boring, and no fun for everyone. If you're going to send something shitty, at least send something that is an overt fuck you, perhaps with a funny nickname, or a trade evo holding an everstone. You get a chuckle, and they get a funny story they can tell about wonder trading. Better yet, send something of value. If everyone sent something of at least a little bit of value, everyone would win at wonder trading.
