Why is this so arbitrary and inconsistent? Hopefully gen 7 has this shit sorted out and can handle 3D all the time.

3D causes notable lag, but they must have been disabling it at the last minute and missed a bunch of areas.

for my 3d battles, the stuff which pops out is the hp gauge and the text at the bottom. what the fucks with that? i want the pokes and the attacks to pop out

I guess Game Freak is still really new with 3D games and honestly they aren't the most technically capable gamedev to begin with so it's understandable that the implementation was spotty the first time around. I just hope they can solve this by gen 7
