I got stuck on this part. I skimmed through the text and thought it said "There's a hidden door in Lyssandre's Lab!" So I spent an hour looking for the lab and a hidden door, and just talking to everyone. Went back and re-read it, and just stopped playing for a bit.

On the bright side, I found out about the "You're not the one" girl really early before everyone else because of this. I also got the game early, and no one was able to help me with that ghost girl and no one still can because what the fuck are we supposed to do now?

Pinsir is exclusive, yes.
Some Pokemon stop learning moves after stone evolving, but most have at least one or two moves they learn at high levels after that. Examples include Lilligant with Quiver Dance and Vileplume with Petal Dance both ~level 40-50. I think some stone evolutions act as regular evolutions in learning the same moves at different levels.

So far I'm running dual screens, toxic, and rest holding light clay. It's really not good offensively, and all I had with it was Smack Down/Gyro Ball, but it's too fast to use that effectively.

There's probably a much better set for it, but it's the best support Pokemon I've used since like, meganium.

Competitively it's still 65 base speed and low HP

But in-game it's going to be a monster when you can outspeed everyone by leveling and spam as many potions as you want.

I have it permanently on. That's why my Combusken is such a high level. I recently caught Ralts and Honedge though and trying to get them from level 8/11 to my level 25's evenly(ish) is a hassle. Almost there though.

That is fine, and I didn't at any point complain about the difficulty disappearing on account of using it. But it does leave a slight whole where the old, not over powered exp share used to be. I like it for general purpose but for main run through I just lost having an exp share for late game pick ups who are 10 levels under me, unless I want to put my whole team on steroids.

When I compare this expirience to gen 4 and 5, this is nothing like them. It doesn't feel tedious and boring, it isn't as linear as before, it's so fucking fun.
