Also you should have EV trained your Delphox immediately after the first gym like I did because I am addicted to that mini-game

I did before that, actually. Right after sending the first pidgey I could get my hands on through the ringer to unlock everything. It was even modest. And now it's just an egg move passer because of poor IVs.

Exactly why I don't like IVs. It doesn't feel good when my Pokemon has permanently lower stats than another Pokemon of the same species just because of retarded RNG.
