Last night I started a thread to see if everybody else was getting as many shinies as I was, because I ran into two in my first nine hours of playing. This is what I wrote:

About half of people reported seeing multiple shinies, while the other half said they hadn't seen any. Then I thought that maybe people who had pre-ordered the game were the ones seeing all these shiny Pokemon, but by then the thread had died, and I had taken my sleeping pills so I didn't feel like starting a new one to find this out from people. But now I'm awake and would like to see if there's a correlation.

So, have you guys seen any shinies so far in X and Y, and if so did you pre-order your game? I'm very interested to see what everyone's experiences are.
