What pokemon are you hoping gets a mega evolution in a future event? (if they're going that route)

I'm hoping to see mega evolutions for Swampert,Blissey and Marowak (possibly a ground/ghost type in reference to what we fought in Lavender Town) personally.

Delcatty. Mega Absol and Banette need something to compare favorably to in terms of statistics.

But really, I'd like to see more dead-end evolutions get megas - pokemon that normally would never get a shot at an evolution in previous gens as a result of being stone-evolved or a third stage. Things like Mismagius, Whimsicott, the Elemental Monkeys. Oh, and more mega forms for traditionally defensive pokemon.

I know it's an obvious one and likely comes across Smogonfaggy, but Scizor. He's been ma bro since I was 8, damn straight I want him bigger and badder.
Big hope for Gallade and Weavile, Gavantula and Yanmega would be cool too but seem unlikely.

This. I think it's absurd that, in particular, none of the Gen VI Pokemon have it despite it being THE feature of this generation.

That said I think we can safely assume all the starters will get them. The real question is if they'll be decent or not and if any others will get more than one.

How Horrifying

Personally i prefer they go for weak pokemon or bad typing. Vespiquen is my favorite Pokemon and is a great defense but the typing fucks her up. A Mega Evolution could fix that.

I'd prefer a Gyarados-style evolution, rather than a Mega for Dunsparce. Mega Dunsparce wouldn't be as good as a beastly basilisk Dunsparce evo.

I'm kinda glad it didn't, even though I don't particularly love Zangoose. Mega Absol manages to end up on around the same level as a regular fucking Espeon because the designers felt that adding 100 BST to everything and calling it a day was a fine idea.

Mostly be side I actually like all of the bastards except Pikachu and Pachirisu and it's a fucking shame they stopped giving them evolutions. Raichus for Emolga and Dedenne or whatever it's called would have been particularly nice.

Medicham has it worse bare-BST-wise compared to its 'parallel'. At least it is far more powerful than him by result, though - regrettably - this also makes any hypothetical 'Galladite' highly unlikely even if they continue adding Mega pokemon.

Yeah, thankfully Medicham has a patch ability that scales all funky, although I was personally hoping for it to hit that delicious 105 speed. What's the deal with some Megas getting a big chunk of their points in stats they don't need at all? A shame that Mega Absol throws away 40 points on Special Attack that could've went into Attack or Speed. I'd be happy if it had any bulk to speak of, really.

I didn't include ones that have fine typings (in my opinion) already. Made exceptions for Venusaur since it desperately needs something other than what it got and Blastoise because I'd like to see a form of it that's more "toise" instead of "blast" if you know what I mean.
