it varies
any cafe where you walk in and they ask where you want to sit (and pay), you can tip
some cafes and houses have guys that play music and you can tip them
some guys say a poem or some shit and you can tip them
I think there's a few more ways to tip than that though

Caught it first stage, pre-first gym, so no tipping at all.
