ITT: General question about super training.
My question:
When I work on an stat and it says +4, does that mean +4 EVs or +4 stat points. If it does mean EVs than how many EVs does it take to go up one stat point?

For a sweeper most people go 252 into one of the attacks depending on the moves you're going to be using and the same into speed and then 4 into HP (or maybe a defence).

I have no idea for defensive pokemon, I'd guess 252 into both defences or HP and one defence, with 4 into the other.

You get a reset bag randomly when super training, use that in core training.

it sometimes appears when you get lucky or in super training when doing high level trainings.

I got lucky with a Lucario named Lucky and got 5 bags from the punching bag in less than 5 minutes, 2 were reset bags. I still don't know why did that shit happen after hours of getting nothing with 2 Pokemon getting proper EV training

Agree with this, but quick question, I maxed EV trained my starter through super training (yes I got a good IV on attack and adamant, so.. My autitism kicked in) but no way in hell it gain 50+ stats points on attack.. so will the max ev show through lvling up? or is there some weird mechanic different from previous ev training results? yest my started was still lvl 5 when I fully ev trained it.

This is what I'm attempting to wrap my head around now. It seems there's an optimum combination for each Pokemon of HP, Defence, and Special Defence, but the rest is entirely up to interpretation. Got tons of bags lying about and no idea what to do with them. Not that it's entirely important before post-game but a little bit of optimisation is fun.
