All the "statistics" that try to show a wage gap are blatant misinformation that's not even trying to be passable.
Depending on the setting, they pass it as between 15 to 30%.
Yet they never like making public the process they use for them. Or let anyone challenge them in the political spheres where they are relevant.
Why?
Because they are misinformation meant to manipulate people into a false conclusion.
Men are payed more on a very vague and general way because there are
A: More men working.
B:More men that have been working for longer time, earning more pay bonuses, more promotions and getting better jobs. About 50% of all women leave the workforce eventually, most of them know it. They don't work for the promotions, they don't desire them as much as men.
Men won't quit a job when they marry. They will actually have to earn more to keep the family well after that.
C: Men put a higher emphasis on their own pay than women. Ample studies have shown that women prefer jobs with stability, a comfortable workplace and better conditions. While men strongly ignore any drawbacks and focus exclusively on pay.
D: Men on average undertake more extra hours and overtimes which are factored in the math of the supposed wage gap.
And that easily, any wage gap mthy crumbles.
