It could be an okay mixed attacker. I don't know what the move set would be though.

Maybe he'll get a new ability that completely fixes him.

Flareblitz
Overheat / Fire Blast / Quick Attack
HP Ground
Shadowball / Superpower / Last Resort

He has some useful support moves like roar/yawn, but his defenses are just too poor.

There is no fixing beedrill. Its stats are too shit. As for Flareon, even with flare blitz, its speed and awful HP will be the bane of its existence. Flareon is my favorite eeveelution, but I've given up on deluding myself.

What if it had speed boost and sticky web? Toxic spikes, sticky web, focus stash, speed boost, protect... it could be an okay lead then.
